Capacity types

Types of tradable capacity

TIGF can provide two types of capacity:

  • fixed capacities whose use is guaranteed contractually by TIGF under normal operating conditions, particularly outside maintenance periods or cases of force majeure;
  • interruptible capacities whose use is not guaranteed by TIGF insofar as they may be reduced, either partially or completely.

Capacity trading arrangements

  • For existing capacities:

- The Open Subscriptions Period (OSP);
- The first come, first served arrangement.

  • For capacities yet to be established, as part of grid development projects:

- the Open Season.

The rules governing these capacity allocation and trading arrangements are described in Annex B1 and B2 to the transport contract.

Tradable capacities

TIGF can make tradable capacities available to you, subscribed and available for the next 18 months.
