A full process in 5 stages, punctuated with meetings with HR staff and departmental managers.

The decision on whom to employ is taken jointly, because it involves a commitment from TIGF over several years.

The 5 stages of recuitment

A 5-stage recruitment process at TIGF

YOUR APPLICATION IS PRESELECTED
Submitted to our recruitment website, sent in spontaneously, or uploaded to a forum… your application has attracted our attention.

1. EXTERNAL RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY

  • Your application, completed in situ, sets out your career plans, starting with your school career, your professional experience, your motivation for contacting TIGF etc..
  • During an individual interview, the external recruitment consultant will analyse your motivation and check whether your profile fits the post and TIGF’s recruitment criteria.

When you visit the consultancy, you may be asked to take personality and logic tests etc..

NEXT STAGE OF THE PROCESS
Within a fortnight, you will receive a response stating whether or not you will move onto the next stage of the process.

2. RECRUITMENT OFFICER

  • The recruitment officer, who leads the whole recruitment process, will be your main contact person. At an individual interview, you will talk about the post, your career path, your aspirations etc..

Our aim: to inform you as much as we can about the post and any possible developments.

Remember to bring the original copies of your certificates!

3. DEPARTMENTAL AND LINE MANAGERS

  • Departmental and line managers: during individual interviews they will explain the job and work context in detail, check your technical skills and evaluate your potential for integration into the team.

At these interviews, your professional development over the first few years of your career will be considered.

RECRUITMENT DECISION
The HR, departmental and line managers will agree on the final decision, which will be sent to you by the recruitment officer.

4. CONTRACT OFFER

  • Your application is accepted, and our recruitment officer will offer you a contract.
  • Signing a TIGF contract.q

5. PERSONALISED INDUCTION

TIGF will help you when you arrive, offering you:

  • Help in finding accommodation;
  • A guided induction into the company;
  • Training at your workplace.
