Connecting to the transport grid

If you want to be connected to the TIGF transport grid to supply gas to your site or distribution grid.
Whether you are an industrial player or GRD (distribution grid manager), TIGF will help you with your planned connection to its transport grid.

The various stages: from planning to connection commissioning

For every planned connection to the TIGF transport grid, there is a set procedure to follow. It involves a number of stages.

1. Technical file request

This file will set out the forecast quantities for transmission (annual, monthly, daily and hourly figures), the location of the consumer or grid connection site, plus information about the site and contact personnel.

Your request is registered and processed from the moment TIGF receives the file.

2. Feasibility study

TIGF will offer you a feasibility study at no charge. It includes:

  • a formal quotation for the costs of setting up the delivery station and associated branch line;
  • a calculation of the operation and maintenance fees;
  • a draft connection or interface contract;
  • the location of the project in relation to the transport grid and an identification of potential connection difficulties (sensitive areas needing to be crossed etc.).

3. Preliminary study

This 6-month study enables all the items necessary for completion of the work to be specified.

4. Completion

The completion phase includes completion of the administrative file, the supply of materials and the construction of the systems required for delivery of the gas. This can take between 12 and 36 months.

5. Commissioning upon completion of these operations
